Small but nice. The schnitzel here is awesome and there are delicious cheese spaetzle for vegetarians. The dishes can also be taken away. It is worth making a reservation for the roast on Sunday. The team is super nice and I'm already looking forward to being able to eat in the restaurant again.
Very cozy pub. The slightly higher price is justified by the quality and portion of the food. Absolutely friendly service.
Good food and good service, interior is dated.
One of the best schnitzel in all of Munich, my favorite Isar schnitzel. Very nice service :)
Quaint and beautiful, the food was delicious
Tasty, hearty cuisine with enchanting service as the icing on the cake! Simply grubby!
Excellent food and service. Very nice local feel with authentic German food.
A really good Munich insider tip! The food was good, the service was very friendly, everything was fantastic. The hut is small but nice. It is worth making a reservation in advance.
Optimal, nice service, freshly tapped beer and delicious cordon bleu! In terms of price at the top, but the quality justifies it. With a spontaneous visit it can happen that everything is fully booked (several people have already noticed that it is very cozy here). So better reserve in advance.
Anyone who loves very good home cooking has come to the right place. If you ask for french fries, we don't have a deep fryer. Conversely, this means that all schnitzels are fried in the pan. How it should be. Very friendly service
We were there with our regulars' table. Great food, great Tegernsee beer, great service. I come against :)
Kitchen closed way early, small and loud
Your favourite stop in Bogenhausen for a refreshing beer and a delicious homemade Schnitzel.
Quaint and cozy gem in the middle of Bogenhausen. Food tastes good, prices are okay and the hospitality is outstanding. Extra safe extra, children drink from home! Definitely worth a visit, but calling and making a reservation beforehand would be advisable due to the limited space available!
Very small good cozy pub with super delicious food :) ?
Just awesome the hut. Friendly staff, delicious food ... always happy. My insider tip in Munich ?
Good food, lovely staff. Family owned and ran and it comes through.
Very good food, well-kept beer and a very good and friendly service from Ms. Antje
Great food and nice service, when we had to stay closed there was also a great menu to pick up! Well done, keep it up!
One of the best (if not the best) Schnitzel in the whole Munich. Isarschnitzel is the best!
The best tavern, the best pub in the area. Great food, friendly service and nice guests
Good small place.
The interior is not big but very cozy. Due to the size, a reservation is advisable. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The portions are good and the apple cakes for dessert are highly recommended. The staff is friendly and the dealings are pleasant and relaxed. I will gladly come again.
Small restaurant at the corner, but really nice food. Glad to be there. The waitress has been very hospital and lovely.
Authentic Bavarian food and atmosphere in a typical wooden environment. Come before 19.30 for dinner. Reservation highly recommended!
Our party of four ordered a selection of breaded and non-breaded schnitzels and they were all delicious! This is hands down the best meal we had during our week in Munich. The hostess was also extremely gracious and friendly. I miss this place already.
My wife and I found this place by accident. We intended to take a trip to Hallstatt, Austria, but all the trains were booked, so we had to get a hotel room for another night in Munich, because our original one was completely booked. This was during Oktoberfest. So we were both disappointed and defeated, feeling like we were wasting time when we had planned to be elsewhere, and found ourselves in an extravagant hotel, far away from the neighborhood we had explored for the past four days (we were in Maxvorstadt area). We hung out in our hotel most of the day until we got hungry, and pulled up Yelp. This place came up, we read some reviews and said "this is where we should go." We got there, and the place was tiny. Maybe five tables or so. This wonderful older German woman dressed in a traditional Bavarian dress welcomed us to sit at a table, then proceeded to translate the entire menu for us, patiently. Even when we couldn't remember what certain dishes were, she never lost her patience. She was the most graceful hostess I've ever encountered at a restaurant. After we placed our orders, I realized she was managing both the tables and the bar, all by herself. I could hear the chef (her husband, maybe?) in the back, pounding out schnitzel with a meat tenderizer. Occasionally she'd disappear into the kitchen, and come back out, serving incredible looking plates. Forgive me for not remembering the proper German names, but I had ordered a schnitzel (not breaded), stuffed with Bavarian ham and feta, and covered in/sitting in a pool of "dark beer sauce." My wife ordered a schnitzel that was breaded with mustard and horseradish. Both of our meals were so good that we were almost driven to tears. You don't have to pay $100 euro/dollars a plate for an excellent meal. The food here, and the service, is done with love. It's reasonably priced, the decor is very welcoming and homey. We spent two weeks in Europe for our honeymoon, and ate meals in three different countries, but this is one I will never forget. I hope some day to return, or to be able to make something similar to what this two-person crew was able to serve us. Absolutely fantastic.
Amazing schnitzel. Great beer. Friendly service, what more do you want.
If not for the awesome Schweinehaxe, I'll be definitely be back for the friendly service! Went there quite late after a long flight, the kitchen was closed but the owner didn't let me leave before feeding me... Friendly service, great food and awesome beer - I need nothing more
The food was very good. The schnitzel was soft, with crunchy breadcrumbs and delicious gravy. The cheese noodles also taste enough of cheese. Accordingly, but the price rather lifted. Unfortunately, the food was delayed on the table. The first were already finished, when the last got their food first. Although not busy and we were only a small group of 6 people. Unfortunately you can not pay by card.
A very traditional authentic Bavarian restaurant and bar. Excellent food and great service.
Authentic Bavarian restaurant! Friendly atmosphere and kind service. Absolutely recommended!
Really tasty schnitzel, better order quick because it takes some time. The service is nice and helpful
Must visit! I have come several times this week while in Munich for work. I am from the US. The owner/waitress is very kind and explains the food. Everything is delicious! And the price is very fair. If you walk in and it looks full, don't be afraid to ask to sit at a table with another group, that is how its done here. Can't recommend a visit here enough!
Delicious food!
Best Schnitzel, best service, everything is right!
One of our best meals in Munich. The waitress was very friendly and explained the whole menu with no fuss. The food was tasty and a good sized portion. The beers were great also and a nice cozy decor. A must if you are in Munich
Very good friendly service, outstanding food and nice ambiance. Highly recommend.
Stadl Optik in the middle of Munich. Very nice service. Without the game cars it would be even quaint.
My favourite restaurant in Munich. Simple, great German food. Always fresh. There is a nice outdoor dining area during the warm months with cold beer. Exactly what you hope for in Munich.
Sunday - public holiday because there is the famous, ingenious and impressive roast pork. Here you can enjoy every bite. Tenderly roasted pork in the mouth with nuances that you linger in the moment. Here the pig was a gourmet and we can taste it. Thank you
Visiting Naumann's was a very enjoyable experience for my friends and me. The hostess was very kind and diligent. Our cups never went empty and the food was of excellent quality. I thoroughly recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.
Mega
Good food and very nice staff
This place is a little gem. Warm service and good food.
Antje is the best waitress in the world. She runs the whole hut and is always calm and helpful. The food is constantly delicious. My favorite is the Alpenschnitzel and the Allgaeuer Schnitzel. Sometimes they have specials and I have been happy every time I tried them too. Wish we still live in Munich to enjoy that homey environment.
Nice German restaurant on the corner. Nothing fancy or pricey, but the basics are done well.
Visited with coworkers while in Munich for business. This place is fantastic - very cozy and the food is wonderful. It's made fresh, you can hear the cook flattening the meat for each meal. From what I could tell, it is a family owned restaurant. It was so good I visited again for lunch the day of my flight home. Be aware, their kitchen tends to close between lunch and dinner. Definitely recommended!
Excellent Bavarian food.
Super duper essen!
